Professional Experience and Education:

At the age of 13, Yaping was admitted to the junior high school of Tianjin Fine Arts Middle School in China and continued her studies in the same department in the high school. At the age of 19, she was accepted into Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, where she completed her bachelor’s degree.

In 2008, Yaping relocated to Paris. In 2010, she continued with her artistic studies at Université Paris 8, where she earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Plastic Arts - Contemporary Art. In 2013, she studied jewelry design at the École Boulle in Paris, majoring in Jewelry Art and Technology, ultimately obtaining the CAP (French National Jewelry Craftsman Qualification Certificate). Following this, she furthered her training in fine jewelry setting techniques at École BJOP in Paris in 2015.

Works:

With years of experience in fine art and jewelry design, Yaping has conducted extensive research on aesthetic theory and art history throughout her teaching career.

From 2004 to 2008, she taught practical and theoretical art courses in the Department of Visual Arts Design at Industrial University (TianGong University) in Tianjin.

From 2018 to 2022, she led the creation of the Metal Crafts teaching program at Tianjin Sino-German University of Applied Sciences, contributing to the establishment of the undergraduate major in Metal Crafts - Jewelry Design. And taught courses within this major.

From 2012 to 2013, worked as a Jewelry Designer for the BABYLONE brand in Paris.

In 2015, Yaping completed an internship at the Van Cleef & Arpels headquarters in Paris, where she worked as a high jewelry handcrafted maquettiste, specializing in custom jewelry.
